With warm side short winds kite beach is the spot.  An easy beach launch leads to a shallow area before the reef, where the kitesurfing happens.

For experienced Kiteboarders, we are a great place to kiteboard from.  The best part to launch on kite beach, Cabarete is right in front of us.  We have a nice big grassy area to store your kite and we have kiteboard lockers to store your gear.

For those looking for some kitesurfing adventures, are right in the center of two fantastic downwinders

We can offer you guided or self guided downwinder tours.  Two of the most popular kiteboard downwinders start and stop right here on kite beach.

The kitesurfing downwinder from La Boca to Kite beach is the most popular route.  La boca is the river mouth, and it’s where the Yasica river meets the ocean.  As the river approaches the ocean, there’s a nice flat water kiteboarding area to enjoy.  It’s the perfect place to try some of your flat water tricks, and to get some great photos .  Many of the professional kite surfers go to la boca for photo shoots.   From there, you head out into the ocean to start your downwind tour.  A couple dangers are to be avoided, so don’t go without talking to us so we can  help you navigate away from those two troublesome spots,  and the rest is pure bliss.

There’s even a little fish restaurant there , worth a trip on it’s own.

Now why does Yoga compliment your kiteboarding ?  It’s like penult butter and jam!

Yoga complements kiteboarding by enhancing core strength, improving flexibility and balance,  and promoting injury prevention, all of which are crucial for both performance and recovery

Here’s a more detailed look at why yoga and kiteboarding make such a great pair:

  • Core Strength and Stability: Kitesurfing involves a lot of power from the kite, and a strong core is essential for maintaining balance and executing maneuvers. Yoga, with its emphasis on core engagement, helps build the necessary strength and stability for powerful jumps and unhooked tricks.
  • Improved Flexibility and Range of Motion: Kiteboarding can be physically demanding, leading to stiffness and soreness, especially in the back, shoulders, and hips. Yoga’s stretching and flexibility work can help alleviate these issues, improve range of motion, and prevent injuries.
  • Injury Prevention: Kitesurfing involves repetitive movements and can put stress on joints and muscles. Yoga helps strengthen muscles, improve flexibility, and enhance body awareness, which can help prevent injuries and aid in faster recovery.
  • Enhanced Balance and Coordination: Kiteboarding requires constant adjustments and quick reactions to maintain balance on the water. Yoga’s focus on balance and coordination can translate directly into improved control and stability on the board.
