Healthy, Fresh Meals at our Beachfront Restaurant

The english term ‘Yoga’ comes from the Sanskrit word ‘Yuj’ meaning  ‘to unite as one’.  True yoga is practiced in everything we do and is more a way of life, rather than simply performing different yogic postures. Our experienced instructors will lead you in daily yoga practices in our beautiful ocean view studio but we also focus on the food you eat during your stay with us. We are what we eat, so a healthy balanced diet plays an integral role in both our physical and mental state.

We feel that it is important to know where your food comes from and know that we are not exploiting the people farming it or the environment in which it is grown.  At the hotel we have an aquaponics system where the Tilapia fish used in the restaurant is grown- any other fish is caught locally following fishing guidelines to keep numbers at a sustainable level. Eggs and veggies all come from our own Taino Organic Farm 20 minutes away from the hotel. At the farm, everything is grown organically, with no use of pesticides or store bought fertilizers and as a Permaculture farm, it  is grown naturally in harmony with the existing ecosystem. This means that the food prepared and served for all our programs is organic, natural, farm fresh and nutrient dense, unlike most of today’s store bought products. If you’re not convinced or want a closer look, you are invited to sign up for the Farm Tour we offer and have a see for yourself! Our menus are carefully planned to provide you with maximum nutrition and energy-all the food is prepared with love and is to be enjoyed with the same pleasure with which it was created!

Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or preferences ahead of time  so that we can make your stay more comfortable. At the moment we cater to vegetarians, and those on gluten and lactose restricted diets, however, we don’t yet have the ability to cater to vegans or raw foodies..
